Passione, tradizione e gusto​

It all began in the late 60's in a back room where the coffee was roasted, then mixed and finally packaged by hand, favoring, since then, the quality in the choice of raw materials. The "Bottega", in reality, was and still is a coffee shop in the center of Finale Ligure which has allowed us over the years to constantly check the quality of our product "over the counter" and to have an objective and daily feedback from our customers.

Over the years, production has changed location and size, finding its current location in a factory outside the city center. Many things have changed since then; an important corporate change has led to the establishment of the current company "Caffè Giovannacci", the father and founding partner took over the children and the grandchildren have already entered the company, guaranteeing continuity, but also respecting and sharing the initial philosophy of always prioritize and at any cost the quality of the product and service for customer satisfaction.

To do this, today more than ever, we buy rare and valuable varieties of coffee from small plantations, in some organic cases, where the berries are harvested strictly by hand, thus guaranteeing, from the outset, an optical selection of the berries that have come when ripe.

We devote a lot of care and attention to the delicate roasting process that requires great skill: using very fine and valuable coffee qualities requires careful and skillful roasting carried out on a low heat together with many years of experience, to extract the optimal flavor from each bean .

We take the same care in the packaging because the fragrance of the blend and the preservation of its delicate aromas depend on it.

Finally, the distribution of the finished product is punctual and precise, which takes place very quickly (generally it does not exceed 48 hours from the roasting phase) to ensure that the precious aromatic substances all remain in the beans and are released only by grinding and the preparation of the drink. All this is the "Caffè Giovannacci" a company where with seriousness and competence, but above all with a lot of passion, we constantly try to improve the quality of a product that has become part of our habits for centuries; a ritual for us Italians, which is repeated every day millions of times and which, when coffee is good, becomes a great little pleasure in life.
